Our biggest accomplishment for March was launching our website!
Surveying some of the new playgrounds and parks around Calgary has been eye-opening! They no longer just have to be swings and a slide. They can be community spaces and gathering places for everyone, such as the Quinterra Legacy Garden.
The Southwest park and musical garden features a performance space and musical garden with outdoor musical play elements. The musical garden, unveiled in 2020, not only supports the arts and encourages youth to play, but honours five young lives lost in 2014– Zackariah Rathwell, Joshua Hunter, Kaitlan Perras, Lawrence Hong and Jordan Segura.
